Im Takt

From the stop to the journey, in German and English.

ImTakt 0.5 finds the stop you meant, lays out journeys to compare, and keeps you current when delays or cancellations are reported. The same picture is available in the browser and for assistants.

What changes for you

  1. 01

    Find the stop

Main station, local halt, or airport: search separates them more clearly. “Berlin Hbf”, “Munich”, and “BER” are more likely to land on the right place.

  2. 02

    Start planning

Enter origin and destination — Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg Hauptbahnhof are suggested — and compare up to ten journeys. Directly on imtakt.dev.

  3. 03

    On the way

Departures, reported delays, cancellations, and tight transfers. Only what we actually know. We do not show platform numbers to travelers today.

  4. 04

    People and assistants

Plan in the browser, or let Cursor, Claude, and Codex fetch the same facts: find a stop, choose a journey, check departures, follow a train.

Earlier versions

  1. 0.4.1

Help, setup, and journey planning come together on imtakt.dev.

Anyone setting up ImTakt or looking for help can now find the right information directly on the website.

  2. 0.4.0

Digital assistants use ImTakt through one clear entry point.

Since 0.4.0, the ImTakt CLI is all an assistant needs to find stops, plan journeys, and follow trains.

  3. 0.3.4

Guidance about places and journeys is easier to understand.

When a place is ambiguous, ImTakt explains it in plain language instead of exposing technical identifiers.

  4. 0.3.2

Journeys can be compared first and opened in detail when needed.

The overview stays compact. Every leg and transfer appears once you select a journey.
